Indigo Girls Glass Votive Candle
Indigo Girls glass votive altar candle from Flaming Idols. The Indigo Girls are a folk rock band comprised of Amy Ray and Emily Saliers. The band became lesbian icons in the late 1980s with hits like Closer to Fine and Galileo. Throughout their careers Amy and Emily have used their platform to support many social justice issues, including LGBTQ rights and Indigenous environmental education. You might light this candle and look to the Indigo Girls for inspiration and guidance in: taking action for justice, cultivating life-long collaborations, using your art to support causes that are important to you. Candle is hand-poured with soy wax and burns for approximately 10 hours. Glass votives are 2.5in high and 2in wide at the base. Each votive is affixed with an opaque sticker with an image of a person and on the opposite side, a translucent sticker with biographical information about the person. Stickers are water-resistant.
