Silvia Prada and Joakim Andreasson (TOFS creative director) are thrilled to announce the online exhibition of “TOM”. Prada’s personal affinity for gay culture has resulted in a close relationship with Tom of Finland Foundation, who granted her access to Tom’s collages and reference pages as point of inspiration in the development of portraits infused with Tom’s artistic eye. The result is a series of fifteen original drawings that are now available exclusively on Tom of Finland Store.

This works in this exhibition have been compiled alongside select reference pages and collages by Tom in the artist’s book TOM published by Capricious Publishing.

I found a lot of emotion in his collages, they are a huge part of Tom’s identity as an artist. Tom would not choose his topics randomly, neither his men… He would have an extremely meticulous method to find the right type of man or the right scene…and that connects my work to his deeply. I found myself in Tom many times.
